From my first consultation with Mr Kang I was made to feel completely at ease in regard to all procedures that took place. The pre op and after op care was fabulous complete professionalism of Mr Kang and his team at Ely hospital. I have very little scaring on my shoulder. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Mr Kang for shoulder surgery; he is indeed a skilled surgeon and one who talks to you in a kind but professional manner.

Had surgery for Rotator Cuff repair and subacromial decompression. I have also had many comments on the neatness of the procedure with there being very little scaring. Had a shoulder replacement in February all went exceptionally well. Great care from Mr Kang and a great outcome. My physio told that this was the best outcome she had seen from a shoulder replacement with a good range of movement and strength.

Niel Kang replaced my shoulder on May 17th. Even though I am a retired doctor, I, like all his patients, am not in a position to judge his surgical abilities. That is a matter for his peers, but what I can say is that the operation went well without any hitches, my recovery was comfortable and quick, and the result, so far, has been excellent. I already have a good range of movement, and only a little discomfort, both of which are very much better than my pre-operative state. I feel I am on course for a full and pain free result. His communication skills are exceptional; both before and after the procedure, he had time to explain everything that was going on in a most clear and lucid manner, which I found most reassuring. He is also a charming person.
